Year Plan 2027
Goals 20273
Goal 1: the one result that matters most in 2027
Write the goal so that on 31 December 2027 you can say clearly whether it happened.
- Describe the result, not the activity
- Add the number or date that proves it
- Put the first step for it in Q1
Goal 2: something you keep postponing
A goal that has waited for years needs a quarter of its own. Choose which one.
Goal 3: something to keep doing well
Not every goal is new. Name what you want to protect, such as health, a team habit, or a weekly routine.

01
When to use this board
For individuals and small teams who set goals at the start of the year and want to see them again before December. The board keeps three goals in view, splits the work by quarter, and puts the four reviews on the board with their dates, so the plan gets checked every three months instead of once.
02
How to run this board
Write three goals for 2027.
Replace the starter goal cards with your own, and phrase each one so you can tell on 31 December whether it happened.
Put the first steps into Q1.
Add one card per goal to Q1. Leave Q2 to Q4 mostly empty and fill them at each review.
Run a review at the end of each quarter.
Open the review card for the quarter, move finished work out, and plan the next quarter. Set the card's due date in Deck if you want a reminder.
03
What this creates
6 stacks, 2 board labels, and 7 starter cards carrying 6 checklist steps. Attachments and comments are intentionally omitted so the template stays portable.
04
Why it fits Deckloud
The template is just a recipe for standard Deck objects. No hosted workflow account, no relay backend, and no Deckloud-only object model.
05
Safe import rules
IDs are not stored. Stack and label keys are remapped at creation time, due dates use relative offsets instead of stale fixed dates, and checklists are written into the card description as ordinary Markdown task lists.
FAQ
Practical questions
Does this change my Nextcloud server schema?
No. It creates ordinary boards, stacks, labels, and cards through the normal Deck model.
Does the template include comments or attachments?
No. V1 templates are text-only because comments imply authorship and attachments vary by server/version.
Can I edit the board after creating it?
Yes. After creation it is just a normal Nextcloud Deck board.
Why are the review dates in the card titles?
Templates use relative due dates so they never import a date in the past. The 2027 review dates are fixed, so they are written into the titles. You can add them as due dates in Deck after you create the board.
Can I use this board for a team?
Yes. Share the board with your team in Nextcloud Deck and give each goal an owner. The quarterly reviews then become a short team meeting.
