on iPhone, iPad, Android, and desktop.

Deck's Gantt view, in native apps
Nextcloud Deck 1.18 and later include a Gantt view on the web. Deckloud shows the same dated cards as a timeline on iPhone, iPad, Android, and the desktop, with no second schedule to keep.
02
How the timeline works
On a phone or iPad, open a board, tap the … menu at the top, and choose Gantt. In the desktop app, use the layout button in the board bar. A card with both dates becomes a bar; a card with only a due date becomes a point on that day.
Drag to reschedule.
Move a bar sideways to shift the start and due date together. The duration stays the same.
Resize to change duration.
Pull either edge to move only that date, without opening the card.
Four scales.
Switch between hour, day, week, and month: hours for a launch day, months for a quarter.
Undated cards stay visible.
Cards without a due date are listed under Undated, each with an Add dates button.
03
It is still a Deck board
A bar is a card, and its ends are the card's start and due date. The Deck web app, the Nextcloud Deck Android app, and other clients see each change after sync.
04
Where it runs
The Gantt view is free on iPhone, iPad, Android, and in the desktop app. The desktop app gives it the most width. On iPad, the same board can also show side-by-side kanban columns.
FAQ
Practical questions
Does Nextcloud Deck have a Gantt chart?
Yes. Deck 1.18 and later include a Gantt view on the web. Deckloud draws the same start and due dates natively, without changing your server or your data.
Do I need to fill in both dates?
No. A card with both dates becomes a bar. A card with only a due date shows as a point on its due day.
Does dragging a bar change the card on my server?
Yes. Moving or resizing a bar writes the new dates to Deck through the normal API.
Does the Gantt view need Deckloud Pro?
No. It is free, like boards, cards, comments, attachments, and search.
Can I see a timeline across several boards?
No, the Gantt view shows one board at a time. For due work across boards, use the Today queue.
